What France looked like in and from the train on Sunday

What France looked like in and from the train on Sunday. The photos might not be worth enlarging. In the train where food was for sale there were slices of fruit cake, and Lay's potato chips, regular or barbecue. The people who show here are the Waynforths. We were in a nice part of the train, with two racks above all the seats, and larger luggage racks between sets of seats.

First impression was it's not as lushly green as England. David mentioned there weren't hedges between fields. I was noticing no stone walls, but many stone houses.
